Widget terms

Version 1, 2026-11-05. These terms sit alongside our main Terms and Privacy notice.

1. Free use. You may place the widget on any lawful website free of charge, including commercial sites.
2. Keep it as it is. Use the code we give you. Do not hide or change the "by Keys and Costs" line, the source notes or the estimate wording, and do not change the results.
3. No implied endorsement. Do not suggest that we recommend, check or partner with your business.
4. Not advice. Results are estimates for reference only and are not tax, legal, financial or property advice. Tell your visitors to check with HMRC, the Welsh Revenue Authority or a qualified professional before acting.
5. Privacy. The widget sets no cookies and stores nothing on the visitor's device. We keep one anonymous count of widget loads per calculator per day and nothing else. You do not need a cookie banner for it, but your own privacy notice may mention that the page loads content from keysandcosts.co.uk.
6. Availability. The service is provided as is. We may change or stop the widget, or block its use on a site that breaks these terms.
7. Not allowed: placing the widget on pages that are unlawful, misleading or that promote fraud.
